Sorry, we have been silent for the past few weeks but BT in their infinite wisdom took
two weeks to get us online, yes, two weeks.
We had to wait a week whilst they switched off the last owner before they would switch us on and then we did not receive the hub until two days ago and I have been setting up our home network since then.
Now with that all running well and the work on the stable block underway we can get to updating the website and showing you what we are getting up to.
We do have some leaks on the left side of the stable block and we are going to replace the roof on this section first. As Loraine will be using the left block for her growing and planting room we are putting on a Polycarbonate roof so the sun can penetrate the room and turn it into a sort of greenhouse.
The bad news is that we have had to lift out the very heavy rubber mats covering the stable block floors as they are very wet with a horse smell under them. This is a dirty hard job that needs to be done before we can move on with the nicer work that is on the very long list of chores waiting to be tackled.
The growing room block has been cleaned along with the Workshop rooms so only two more to be done now. I shall get the benches in then reorganize the rooms to suit.
