Greetings to all who follow our relocation to Cornwall and here is an update to bring you
up-to-date with events.
The work on the Garden workshop is now complete and ready for the new season next year. We have been visiting the local garden nurseries and have bought some great plants such as Gingko Biloba, Japanese Acer trees, and Rhubarb amongst others. Loraine has planted 100s of flower bulbs in troughs and pots ready for next spring and the next step on the garden front is to prepare the new beds ready to take our Autumn crops such as Onions, Beans, and Peas for over-wintering outdoors.
The tool workshop is nearing its completion too and I am just finishing the saw and router tables ready for future works around the property.
Having made plans for the new greenhouse to be built on the sand ring it should be around 40 feet long and 20 feet wide and made from wood and polycarbonate, plans are nearing completion as I type. This should be, once built, the heart of our new gardens and the source of our Organic foods in the future along with being the nursery for many plants, cuttings, and pot-ons.
The outside of the stables is nearly fully painted for the Winter and we have started on the fence which will take a few weeks to complete but it already looks good and the stable yard is coming together and looking really nice.
